- Assess and treat an unconscious casualty
- How to put and adult, baby or child into the Recovery Position
- How to perform CPR on an adult, child and baby
- How to help someone suffering a Heart Attack
- How and when to use a defibrillator (AED)
- How to help someone choking, drowning, or suffering from a head injury
- How to treat someone bleeding or suffering from burns
- How to recognise and treat seizures and febrile convulsions
- Recognise the signs and symptoms of septicaemia and meningitis
- Understand the priorities in an emergency and when to call an ambulance

- Treatment of an unconscious breathing casualty (Recovery Position)

Our experienced trainers will use questions and scenarios to assess your understanding and skills throughout the course.
Your Emergency First Aid certificate will be awarded on the day, and is valid for 3 years.
Summary:
Our First Aid for Sports courses will give you thorough training in sports related injuries and emergencies, such as asthma, bleeding and the recovery position. You will gain a First Aid certificate valid for three years, as well as the confidence and skills to be able to deliver First Aid in an emergency.
For those needing a fully accredited EFAW (Emergency First Aid at Work) qualification, we also offer 6 hour accredited courses which offer specific training on sporting injuries. Upon completion of the course, you will receive a Qualsafe qualification valid for three years.
