Thank you for the course last night. I have spoken to my fellow cycling instructors and they all really enjoyed the course. Heather said she learnt more from you in 3 hours than the St John Ambulance course she attended over 3 days.Fred Ellis
First Aid for Life is an Award Winning fully regulated First Aid Training provider, our trainers are highly experienced medical and emergency services professionals who will tailor the training to your needs.
The Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course adapted for Sports is a one day course covering care of the unconscious casualty as well as commonly occurring injuries in adults and children. Our course uniquely adds in additional areas to the EFAW syllabus and covers heart attacks, head and spinal injuries as well as asthma and other elements of First Aid crucial to sports.
The EFAW (adapted to First Aid for Sports) course is the one needed if your insurance provider requires you to have a regulated course covering the HSE syllabus.
Our Emergency First Aid (3 hour) course covers care of the unconscious adult and child as well as commonly occurring injuries: bleeding, burns, head injury, fitting, etc. These courses are run in small groups and everyone receives a course manual and an Emergency First Aid Certificate valid for 3 years. This course will be adapted to include elements relevant to your sport and a First Aid for Sports certificate will be awarded on the day.
The Emergency First Aid course is the one needed if you are requested to attend a Basic First Aid course.
We would be delighted to come and run a practical and relevant First Aid course specifically tailored to your sport and the needs of your club. Please let us know what you need.
