First Aid for Life is an Award Winning fully regulated First Aid Training provider, our trainers are highly experienced medical and emergency services professionals who will tailor the training to your needs.
The Family First Aid (including your dog!) course is an opportunity for families to enjoy learning first aid together. It provides your family with the vital skills to help each other in an emergency, or when accidents happen around the house or for those looking after an elderly relative.
With our sister company www.Firstaidforpets.net we are able to include Dog First Aid if that is of interest to you, including dog CPR mannequins and training covering choking, drowning, poisoning, bleeding and bandaging, burns, head injuries, what to do if they are hit by a car and much more.
Our practical courses enable hands-on experience with adult, baby and child (and dog) mannequins.
You will be awarded with an Emergency First Aid Certificate on the day. The certificate is valid for 3 years.
We will always tailor the course to your requirements, so please let us know if there is anything you would particularly like us to include.
Our Emergency First Aid (3 hour) course covers accidents and emergencies in adults, babies and children and concentrates upon the most common children’s medical emergencies – you will be able to choose to focus on the age group most relevant for you and the course will be tailored to your needs.
For group courses: we would be delighted to run a specific Family First Aid course at a time and place to suit you at special group rates, tailored to your specific needs.
Our practical Dog First Aid course is 3 hours and covers how to care for an unconscious dog as well as commonly occurring injuries and illnesses in dogs including choking, bleeding, fitting, poisoning and much more. We can bring our dog CPR mannequins to cover Family First Aid and include your pet.
We also offer an Online Dog First Aid course showing you how to help your pet should an accident happen. The course consists of illustrated step-by-step directions, flow charts, diagrams, and videos. Fully compatible with all computers and mobile devices, stop and start as often as you like and print your Certificate on completion.
